Hello
Personal Statement of Purpose
I am Hajjah Lennora Joyce Muti’ah Pierrot wishing to be a
Candidate for Alabama House of Representatives, District 82
The Forward Change for District 82
Lennora “Tia” Pierrot
I am running for the Alabama House of Representatives for District 82 because stability, faith, and community accountability must come before politics.
I am a St. Lucian American, a Muslim, a mother of nine, a small-business and nonprofit advocate, and a lifelong community builder in Alabama’s Black Belt. I came to this country at 9 years old, became a U.S. citizen under the Reagan administration, raised globally traveled children, and lived the principles of responsibility, faith, hard work, and service long before I ever considered public office.
My decision to run is not about party labels it is about representation for you with purpose.
District 82 deserves leadership that understands:
• how families struggle to stay stable
• how small businesses fight to survive
• how property ownership builds generational wealth
• how faith anchors decision-making
• and how community safety, education, and economic opportunity are inseparable
I am affiliated with the Republican Party because its core principles personal responsibility, limited government, faith, family, and community empowerment are principles I have lived, not just spoken about. I also understand that our district is diverse, complex, and often overlooked. My commitment is to serve all people of District 82, not special interests.
For years, I have done the work without a title:
• advocating for families and youth
• building nonprofit and community programs
• supporting mental health, education, and workforce readiness
• working to stabilize properties and create local economic assets
Now I am stepping forward because District 82 needs a steady hand, a listening ear, and a courageous voice someone rooted in God, grounded in reality, and committed to long-term solutions.
This campaign is a grassroots effort.
I am not backed by corporate money or political machines. I am backed by people.
To officially qualify for this race, I must raise $1,333.18 in qualifying fees. I am asking for your endorsement, your prayers, and your financial support to help me take this step forward on behalf of our community.
Every contribution large or small is an investment in:
• honest representation
• community-centered leadership
• economic stability
• and a future that honors both tradition and progress
I believe in a united Alabama, even when division feels loud.
I believe leadership should reflect lived experience.
And I believe God orders our steps when our intentions are sincere.
If you believe District 82 deserves leadership rooted in faith, accountability, and service, I humbly ask for your support and endorsement.
Together, we can move District 82 and Alabama forward with purpose. With your Donation and your Vote in action.
